Privacy & Platform Policy

Revolution Address is a real estate bulletin board designed for licensed real estate agents and brokers operating in the Philippines. This Privacy and Platform Policy explains how information submitted to the platform is collected, handled, protected, and used. Our commitment is to transparency, fairness, and responsible data handling in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and all applicable Philippine laws.

1. Nature of the Platform

Revolution Address functions solely as a listing and information bulletin board for real estate properties in the Philippines. The platform serves as an online space where licensed real estate agents and brokers can post property listings to reach potential buyers and lessees. Revolution Address does not act as a real estate brokerage, does not represent buyers or sellers, and does not facilitate payments, negotiations, or transactions between parties. All listings and information displayed on the platform are voluntarily submitted by agents and brokers who are solely responsible for their content and accuracy.

2. Information We Collect

Revolution Address collects only the information necessary to operate the bulletin board effectively and maintain the platform's integrity. We do not require registration or account creation to browse listings, but agents and brokers must provide certain information to submit listings.

Agent and Broker Information

When agents or brokers submit listings through our platform, we collect their full name, email address, and contact number or mobile phone number. This information is necessary to identify the listing source, enable communication with potential clients, and maintain accountability within the platform. We do not collect or store financial information such as bank account details, government-issued identification numbers such as SSS or TIN, property ownership documents such as transfer certificates of title or tax declarations, birthdates or age information, or passwords or login credentials as we do not have user accounts.

Listing Information

We collect comprehensive property details as submitted by the agent or broker through our submission form, including property type, location, price or rental rate, description and features, photographs and images, and any additional contact information the agent chooses to include. We also maintain listing status indicators such as active, archived, or expired, posting date and expiration date for lifecycle management, and renewal history when applicable. All listing content is provided by the agent or broker and remains their responsibility in terms of accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.

Platform Usage Data

To maintain and improve the platform, we collect basic technical and usage information including submission and update timestamps, form submission data, analytics data through third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics, and cookies and similar tracking technologies. We use analytics services to understand how visitors interact with the platform, analyze traffic patterns, and identify areas for improvement. These services may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and time spent on the platform.

Information from Casual Visitors

Revolution Address does not directly collect personal information from casual visitors or browsers who are simply viewing property listings. Visitors can browse the platform freely without providing any personal information. However, standard analytics and cookie data may be collected through third-party analytics services as described above.

3. How We Use Information

Information collected through Revolution Address is used strictly for legitimate platform operations and service provision. We use the collected information to publish and display real estate listings on the platform for public viewing, manage the listing lifecycle including activation, expiration, and renewal, communicate with agents and brokers regarding their listings and platform operations, send automated email notifications five days before listing expiration, process listing renewal requests and associated fees when applicable, moderate content to ensure compliance with platform guidelines and applicable laws, improve platform functionality and user experience through analytics, and respond to inquiries or support requests.
Revolution Address does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise monetize personal information provided by agents, brokers, or visitors. We do not use collected information for purposes unrelated to platform operation. We do not share personal information with third parties for their independent marketing purposes. We do not send promotional emails or newsletters unrelated to your listings, although we reserve the right to do so in the future with appropriate opt-out mechanisms.

4. Communications You May Receive

When you submit a listing to Revolution Address, you may receive the following types of communications from us:

Transactional Emails

We send automated transactional emails related to your listing activity, including listing approval confirmation when your submission is approved, expiration reminder sent automatically five days before your listing expires, renewal instructions and payment information when applicable, and responses to your edit requests or inquiries. These transactional emails are essential to the service and cannot be opted out of while you have active listings on the platform.

Platform Updates

We may occasionally send important platform updates regarding changes to our Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy, significant new features or changes to the platform, service disruptions or maintenance notices, or policy changes affecting how listings are managed. We will make reasonable efforts to limit these communications to important matters only.

Future Marketing Communications

While we do not currently send promotional emails or marketing newsletters, we reserve the right to do so in the future. If we introduce marketing communications, we will provide clear opt-out mechanisms and honor all unsubscribe requests promptly. You will always be able to opt out of marketing communications while continuing to receive essential transactional emails.

5. Information Sharing and Disclosure

By submitting a listing to Revolution Address, agents and brokers explicitly consent to the public display of their contact information and listing details on the platform. This information becomes visible to all visitors and users of the platform, as the primary purpose of the service is to connect property sellers and lessors with potential buyers and lessees.

Third-Party Service Providers

Revolution Address shares information with third-party service providers that are essential to platform operation. These may include website hosting and database management services, analytics providers such as Google Analytics for traffic analysis and platform usage insights, email service providers for automated notifications and communications, and cloud storage services for data retention. These service providers have access to personal information only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. We cannot control all activities of third parties to whom we provide data, but we take reasonable steps to ensure that these third parties maintain adequate privacy and security protections.

Social Media and Marketing

Revolution Address may feature select property listings on our social media channels, including Facebook and Instagram, for promotional purposes. When we share listings on social media, we may include property photos, descriptions, and pricing information as submitted by the agent or broker. We may also include agent or broker contact information or attribution, although our specific practices regarding agent identification on social media posts are still being developed. By submitting a listing, you consent to the potential use of your listing content and information for promotional purposes on Revolution Address's social media channels.

Search Engines

Listings on Revolution Address are intended to be publicly accessible and may be indexed by search engines such as Google, Bing, and others. This indexing helps increase visibility and reach for your property listings. We do not actively prevent search engine crawling or indexing of public listing content.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose personal information if required to do so by law, court order, subpoena, or other legal process. We may also disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or property, protect the safety of users or the public, prevent fraud or other illegal activity, or comply with a judicial proceeding or government investigation. We will make reasonable efforts to notify affected users of legal demands for their information unless prohibited by law or court order.

6. User-Submitted Content and Responsibility

All listings and related information, including property descriptions, photographs, pricing, and contact details, are submitted by agents and brokers at their own discretion and under their sole responsibility. Agents and brokers warrant that they have obtained all necessary permissions and authorizations to post property information and photographs, possess the legal right to submit all materials provided, and ensure their submissions do not infringe on intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of third parties. Agents and brokers further represent that they hold valid licenses or authority to conduct real estate business within Philippine jurisdiction and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
Revolution Address does not independently verify, guarantee, validate, or endorse any listing, property information, or claims made by agents and brokers. We do not verify the identity, credentials, or licensing status of agents and brokers who submit listings. The platform serves solely as a bulletin board and does not assume responsibility for the accuracy, reliability, or legality of user-submitted content. We reserve the right to review, edit, suspend, or remove listings or restrict platform access if content violates platform guidelines, contains false or misleading information, infringes on third-party rights, violates applicable laws or regulations, or is otherwise deemed inappropriate at our sole discretion.

7. Data Protection and Security

Revolution Address is committed to protecting the personal information entrusted to us. While agents and brokers voluntarily provide their information, we recognize our legal and ethical obligation for its secure and responsible handling. We implement reasonable security measures appropriate to the nature and scope of our operations, including controlled administrative access limited to authorized personnel, reliance on reputable third-party hosting and infrastructure services that maintain their own security protocols, secure data transmission methods where technically feasible, and regular review of our security practices and procedures.
It is important to understand that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we take appropriate and reasonable precautions to protect information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. The internet by its nature is not a secure environment, and the nature of security risks is constantly evolving. Users acknowledge and accept this inherent limitation when choosing to submit information to Revolution Address. In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects personal information, we will take appropriate steps to investigate the incident, mitigate potential harm, and notify affected individuals and relevant authorities as required by the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

8. Data Retention

Revolution Address retains information as necessary to provide our services and comply with our legal obligations. Active listings and associated agent or broker information are retained for the duration that the listing remains active on the platform. When a listing expires after its thirty-day lifecycle, it is automatically archived. Archived listings and associated data are retained indefinitely in our database for record-keeping, quality control, dispute resolution, and platform improvement purposes.
Email addresses and contact information of agents and brokers are retained indefinitely to maintain our database and enable future communications. Platform usage data, analytics information, and cookies may be retained in aggregated or anonymized form for statistical analysis and platform improvement. While we retain data indefinitely by default, you have the right to request deletion of your personal information subject to the limitations described in Section 9 of this policy. We may periodically review and purge outdated or unnecessary data at our sole discretion, although we are under no obligation to do so.
